Canadian Students For Liberty – The True North Strong & Free
Passion for freedom and individual liberty doesn’t suddenly disappear at the 49th parallel. Individual liberty was, in fact, the ideal that Canada was founded on. The first francophone prime minister, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, once said that “Canada is free and freedom is its nationality.” We know that, in spite of the truth of this proposition, it may be difficult to convince people of its importance.
In short, that’s why Canadian Students For Liberty exists. From coast to coast to coast, we can connect pro-liberty Canadian youth with the resources they need to help them succeed in building the next generation of pro-liberty leaders.
The world we live in presents both imposing challenges and immense opportunities for pro-liberty students. To navigate both to the best of our ability, one of the most useful steps we can take is to connect with others across Canada and around the world. Canadian students have proven time and time again that they stand out in a crowd. The trails we are blazing today may not be the wild rapids run by the first voyageurs, but it is the same determination and vision that today leads us forward in our defense of liberty.
